Comparative Study for the Serodiagnosis of Mycoplasma pneumonia

This study is aimed at evaluating M. pneumoniae antibodies kits using recombinant antigens (Savyon Diagnostics® and Medac®) as well as native antigens (AniLabSystem®), to improve specificity of results. All the three assays evaluated use the P1 Adhesin Protein, that represents the main virulence factor against which the humoral response is directed.
